In February 2025, Ildiko Eigel delivered a major feature for the IBM/cloudant-node-sdk repository, focusing on enhancing pagination and data retrieval. She implemented iterators and pagination classes in TypeScript and Node.js, enabling efficient page-based access to large datasets across all Cloudant query types, including all docs, design docs, find, and search. This work standardized the pagination API, improving both developer experience and SDK ergonomics. By introducing scalable streaming and pagination mechanisms, Ildiko addressed memory usage concerns and laid a robust foundation for future enhancements.
