Ilies focused on enhancing CI/CD reliability for the cloud-pi-native/socle repository by addressing storage-related failures in GitLab Runners. Through careful configuration of ephemeral storage resource requests and limits, Ilies stabilized the CI pipelines, reducing outages and minimizing manual intervention. This work leveraged DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code principles, utilizing Jinja for templating configuration changes. By resolving a persistent bug that caused runner downtime and pipeline churn, Ilies improved build stability and accelerated deployment readiness. The depth of the work lay in diagnosing infrastructure bottlenecks and implementing targeted solutions that directly improved the feedback loop for development teams.
