Worked on the superfly/flyctl repository to enhance backend reliability for multi-region deployments by addressing a key issue in log retrieval. Focused on backend and CLI development using Go, the work involved removing an unnecessary region constraint that previously limited access to logs when filtering by machine ID. By enabling global log retrieval regardless of region, this fix improved observability and streamlined troubleshooting for distributed systems. The solution targeted the log access logic, ensuring that specifying a machine ID now retrieves logs from any region, thereby reducing operational friction and supporting more efficient debugging workflows for teams managing global infrastructure.
