Ilya M. developed and integrated an eBPF-based profiler into the otel-integration Helm chart within the coralogix/telemetry-shippers repository. This work involved adding the ebpf-profiler as a Helm subchart, updating Chart.yaml dependencies, and configuring values files to enable seamless profiling alongside the existing OpenTelemetry Collector. Using Helm and Kubernetes, Ilya ensured that the profiler could be easily enabled and configured by users, supporting observability workflows without disrupting current deployments. The implementation focused on YAML-based configuration and compatibility, providing a maintainable solution for profiling in Kubernetes environments.
