Worked on the reportportal/service-api repository to deliver a comprehensive migration of the Test Management System (TMS) data layer and API. The project involved restructuring data access objects and establishing a unified data access architecture using Java, JPA, and Spring Boot. By introducing repositories and services, the work decoupled data access from business logic, enhancing maintainability and testability. API controllers were implemented to support product versions, test cases, datasets, and manual launches, expanding TMS functionality. The migration completed core milestones, laying the groundwork for faster feature delivery and improved maintainability in backend development and database management for future enhancements.
