Worked on the Schniz/opencode-1 repository to deliver a cross-platform desktop application migration from Tauri to Electron, focusing on streamlining distribution for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The migration involved updating build commands and introducing platform-specific download links, reducing maintenance overhead while maintaining feature parity for end users. Documentation was thoroughly refreshed using Markdown to ensure accurate onboarding and deployment guidance for both users and contributors. The work demonstrated skills in desktop application development and software documentation, aligning the project with the current Electron ecosystem and providing a more sustainable foundation for future development and easier contributor engagement. No bugs were reported.
