Developed and delivered superscript and subscript formatting capabilities for the Draft Editor in the mirror-media/Lilith repository, enhancing the editor’s support for scientific and mathematical content. The work involved implementing new inline style mappings and integrating dedicated UI buttons, allowing users to apply typographic styling with a single click. Leveraging JavaScript and TypeScript, the developer focused on editor architecture and front end development, ensuring seamless integration of the new features into the existing rich text editor. This addition improved editorial fidelity and usability, enabling faster authoring and more precise content formatting without introducing any regressions or requiring bug fixes.
