Worked on the klmr/astrocommunity repository to enhance Proto Pack’s compatibility with upcoming versions of lspconfig by updating the language server configuration. Addressed the deprecation of bufls by replacing it with buf_ls, ensuring continued support and reducing future maintenance risks. The update involved changes to both the main initialization logic and the README, streamlining onboarding and minimizing confusion during upgrades. Leveraged skills in configuration management and plugin management, with all changes implemented in Lua. This focused contribution proactively aligned the project with upstream changes, supporting smoother CI workflows and providing a more robust foundation for future language server integrations.
