During November 2024, Masaki Sakaguchi updated the Proto Pack configuration in the klmr/astrocommunity repository to maintain compatibility with upcoming lspconfig versions. He replaced the deprecated bufls language server with buf_ls, proactively addressing deprecation and reducing future maintenance risks. Working primarily in Lua, Masaki focused on configuration management and plugin management, updating both the main initialization logic and documentation to reflect the new language server reference. This change streamlined onboarding for developers and minimized confusion during upgrades.
