Worked on the umami-software/umami repository to address a navigation issue affecting user experience during team switches. Focused on refining the redirect logic so that users are routed to their last active team when available, or to the homepage otherwise, thereby streamlining the user journey and improving accessibility. Refactored the underlying logic to centralize decision points, which reduced edge-case navigation problems and enhanced maintainability. The work involved fixing a specific bug related to team-to-user switch behavior, ensuring more reliable navigation outcomes. Utilized React for front end development and implemented changes using both JavaScript and TypeScript to deliver a robust solution.
