Worked on the Catappult/appcoins-wallet-android repository to deliver improvements to the VIP Referral Card feature, focusing on reliability and maintainability. Addressed a countdown timer issue by ensuring it uses the correct start date for future codes and removed hardcoded code-length assumptions, resulting in more robust referral code handling. Enhanced UI maintainability by refactoring imports in VipReferralCardComposable.kt and polished the user-facing copy for consistency. Utilized Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to implement these changes, demonstrating skills in Android development and code refactoring. The work contributed to improved user trust and reduced support needs, supporting higher referral conversion rates for the application.
