During December 2024, Blackisnewyellow delivered Tatar language localization for the Revolutionary-Games/Thrive repository, expanding accessibility for Tatar-speaking players. They introduced the tt.po locale file using Weblate, leveraging gettext/po workflows to manage and validate translations. Their work focused on integrating comprehensive Tatar translations into the existing internationalization pipeline, ensuring readiness for future language support and contributors. By collaborating with localization and engineering teams, Blackisnewyellow strengthened the project’s translation management process. Although the contribution was limited to one feature and did not involve bug fixes, the work demonstrated proficiency in localization tooling, repository collaboration, and the practical application of PO file management.
