Worked on the DFE-Digital/login.dfe.help repository to deliver a dynamic configuration for the Accessibility Statement URL, enhancing the flexibility and maintainability of accessibility information in the application. Leveraging configuration management and frontend development skills, the solution involved loading the accessibility statement URL from environment variables and rendering it in the layout footer using ejs and JavaScript. This approach eliminated hard-coded values, allowing for per-environment customization and reducing the need for code changes when updating policy links. The work improved compliance readiness and governance by enabling rapid updates to accessibility policies, while also supporting clean deployment and maintainability practices across the codebase.
