Irar focused on enhancing the reliability and coverage of the Scheduler Scorer component within the neuralmagic/gateway-api-inference-extension repository. Over the course of a month, Irar expanded the Go-based backend test suite by introducing a dummy scorer and picker, refining validation for the full Result structure, and implementing load-based scoring tests. These changes addressed test flakiness and improved the stability of the test setup, ensuring more robust continuous integration workflows. By deepening test coverage and validating edge cases in the scoring logic, Irar increased confidence in inference routing decisions, supporting safer, faster production deployments and strengthening the project’s overall production readiness.
