In April 2025, Irene Chiam developed and integrated a new Competition Event Timeline component for the dscubed/dscubed-website repository, replacing a static heading with a dynamic, data-driven timeline that organizes upcoming competition events, dates, and descriptions. Using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, Irene focused on frontend component design and UI/UX refinement to improve clarity and scalability for future event data. The component enables maintainers to easily update competition milestones, enhancing the user experience by presenting information in a structured format. This work demonstrated a solid grasp of modern frontend development practices, though it was limited in scope to a single feature.
