Isaac developed and delivered a passwordless authentication feature for the nhost/nhost repository, enabling users to sign in via SMS using the Modica provider. This work involved implementing a dedicated Modica SMS client in Go, updating provider configuration, and introducing new CLI flags to activate the feature. By integrating Modica into the authentication flow, Isaac enhanced security and streamlined user onboarding while expanding carrier support. The project required skills in API integration, backend development, and configuration management, with supporting documentation and tests updated in Markdown. The solution demonstrated thoughtful design and a thorough approach to authentication and provider integration challenges.
