Worked on the goauthentik/authentik repository to enhance the reliability of Wiki.js integration by addressing issues with slug generation. The solution involved replacing a hard-coded application slug with a dynamic placeholder, ensuring alignment with auto-generated slugs and preventing integration mismatches. This change, implemented in Markdown and leveraging API and integration skills, updated the documentation to reflect the new approach for future consistency. The work was validated through collaborative sign-offs and co-authorship, demonstrating adherence to Git best practices. As a result, the update reduced integration failures, improved onboarding speed for wiki features, and increased the maintainability of slug generation logic.
