Worked on the OSGeo/grass-addons repository to enhance both the robustness of geospatial analysis tools and the contributor experience. Addressed memory stability in r.viewshed.cva by introducing a -z flag to r.series, which prevents memory errors when processing large viewpoint sets, thereby improving reliability for large-scale analyses. Additionally, updated project documentation by refining CONTRIBUTING.md to include detailed instructions for setting up pre-commit and identify, streamlining code quality enforcement and onboarding for new contributors. Leveraged Python scripting and Markdown documentation skills to deliver these improvements, focusing on reproducibility, proactive code quality, and smoother collaboration within the open-source geospatial community.
