Worked on enhancing telemetry event data within the kubearmor/KubeArmor repository by introducing a new eventData field to the telemetry pipeline. This involved implementing a parsing function for event data and updating log structures to support structured telemetry, thereby enabling more granular observability and analytics. The work was carried out using Go and leveraged backend development skills, with integration of gRPC and protobuf for efficient data handling. All changes were aligned with existing commit conventions and documentation standards, ensuring maintainability and consistency within the codebase. The update laid the groundwork for improved structured data processing in KubeArmor’s telemetry system.
