Worked on the cepdnaclk/people.ce.pdn.ac.lk repository to improve data quality and rendering reliability for student profile pages. Addressed a recurring formatting issue by fixing frontmatter spacing after colons in key-value pairs, which previously caused rendering inconsistencies. Introduced automated Python-based tests to validate frontmatter formatting across all student profiles, reducing manual QA effort and preventing future regressions. Leveraged front end development skills alongside Python scripting and testing to ensure that formatting standards are consistently enforced. The work focused on targeted bug fixes rather than new features, emphasizing reliability and maintainability in the presentation of student data on the platform.
