Developed and delivered a new GTFS feed for Boxcar commuter bus services between New Jersey and New York City within the MobilityData/mobility-database-catalogs repository. Focused on API development and data integration, the work involved creating a daily auto-generated feed covering 13 routes and 91 trips, ensuring up-to-date schedule data for public access. Enhanced the feed with metadata fields such as extracted_on and latest to support data freshness checks, and included website references for traceability. Collaborated across teams through co-authored commits, emphasizing pipeline reliability and thorough documentation. Utilized JSON and GTFS standards to strengthen catalog capabilities for MobilityData users.
