Worked on improving stability and onboarding experience in the gravity-ui/graph repository by focusing on front-end development using JavaScript and TypeScript. Addressed user workflow friction by enabling new connections by default, streamlining the setup process for new projects. Enhanced the robustness of CSS utilities by introducing null checks in functions handling CSS property assignments, which reduced runtime errors and edge-case failures. These updates ensured that the UI handled unexpected scenarios gracefully, contributing to a more reliable user experience. The work demonstrated attention to both user-facing features and underlying code quality, balancing new functionality with improved error handling and maintainability.
