Timo Rupp completed a full German localization of the Axon Ivy Engine Cockpit, achieving 100% translation coverage across 1,283 UI strings in the axonivy/engine-cockpit repository. Using YAML and leveraging Weblate for workflow integration, Timo focused on terminology consistency and accessibility to ensure German-speaking users could navigate the application with ease. The work involved end-to-end translation, from initial string extraction to final codebase integration, enhancing onboarding and reducing language-related support queries. By prioritizing internationalization and localization best practices, Timo broadened the product’s reach and improved deployment readiness for multilingual releases, demonstrating depth in both process and execution.
