During October 2025, Ivy contributed to the NixOS/nixpkgs repository by delivering Darwin driver support for the kmonad Haskell package, enabling macOS functionality through a new passthru attribute that integrates the karabiner-dk package. This work aligned with cross-platform goals and required careful system configuration and package management using Nix and YAML. Ivy also maintained package hygiene by updating karabiner-dk to its latest stable release and adding auscyber as a maintainer for kmonad, ensuring up-to-date dependencies and clear ownership. The contributions focused on targeted, maintainable improvements rather than bug fixes, demonstrating depth in package maintenance and system administration.
