During a one-month period, Iwanicki enhanced hardware compatibility testing in the Dasharo/meta-dts repository by enabling Flashrom test coverage for Alder Lake processors within the Cukinia test suite. This work involved modifying shell scripts to uncomment and activate a previously disabled test command, thereby expanding automated CI validation for new hardware platforms. Leveraging skills in CI/CD, embedded systems testing, and shell scripting, Iwanicki improved the reliability of the testing infrastructure without introducing new bugs. The update addressed the need for broader processor support in continuous integration workflows, demonstrating a focused and technically sound approach to embedded systems quality assurance.
