Ixchel enhanced the ReadTreeTrace documentation for the revbayes/revbayes repository, focusing on improving usability and maintainability for both developers and users. Working primarily with C++ and Markdown, Ixchel consolidated and expanded the documentation to clarify the function’s purpose, input requirements, and directory processing behavior, while also providing practical usage examples. The technical approach included aligning the documentation with the C++ help and database references to ensure consistency across the codebase. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the work addressed onboarding challenges and aimed to reduce support overhead, demonstrating depth in technical writing and documentation-driven development practices.
