During August 2025, Xuejie focused on enhancing the dealii/dealii repository by updating API documentation to address user confusion around boundary-value projection. Xuejie revised the constraints.h documentation, replacing a deprecated function reference with VectorTools::project_boundary_values_curl_conforming_l2, thereby guiding users to the correct tool and improving API clarity. This work involved careful code refactoring and the application of Doxygen-style documentation practices in C++. By aligning the documentation with current tool usage, Xuejie improved onboarding for new users and reduced support overhead. The update contributed to the maintainability and accuracy of the codebase, though no major bug fixes were recorded.
