In March 2025, Izet Molla contributed to the gofiber/contrib repository by updating the JWT middleware to ensure compatibility with Fiber v3. This work involved revising function signatures and import paths to align with the latest framework version, thereby improving reliability for downstream applications. Alongside this feature, Izet addressed dependency management by cleaning up the Go module graph, removing unused indirect dependencies from go.mod and go.sum to reduce potential conflicts and maintain a leaner codebase. The work demonstrated practical application of Go, Go Modules, and dependency management, focusing on maintainability and compatibility within the evolving Fiber ecosystem.
