Worked on the gofiber/contrib repository to deliver JWT middleware compatibility with Fiber v3, updating function signatures and import paths to align with the latest framework version. Focused on improving reliability and compatibility for downstream applications by ensuring seamless integration with Fiber v3. Addressed dependency management by cleaning up the Go module graph, removing unused indirect dependencies from go.mod and go.sum to reduce potential conflicts and maintain a leaner codebase. Utilized Go, Go Modules, and Fiber throughout the process, demonstrating attention to maintainability and reliability in both feature development and bug fixing within the project’s dependency and authentication layers.
