Worked on enhancing security for the voxel51/fiftyone-teams-app-deploy repository by delivering encryption support to the CAS service. Introduced the FIFTYONE_ENCRYPTION_KEY environment variable and ensured its propagation across Docker and Helm deployment layers, focusing on consistent configuration management. Extended unit tests in Go and YAML to validate the encryption path, supporting a scalable approach for future encryption-driven features. The work emphasized deployment consistency and improved the security posture of the service, with no major bugs reported during the period. Demonstrated proficiency in DevOps practices, containerization, and infrastructure as code while addressing a critical security requirement in the deployment pipeline.
