Developed core cross-cloud secret management capabilities within the redpanda-data/common-go repository, focusing on secure and governed secret lifecycles across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Implemented full CRUD operations for secrets, extending the generic secret provider to support lifecycle management and integrating metadata handling through a tag-based approach. Enhanced the merging strategy for global tags and labels, improving consistency and governance across providers. Applied reviewer feedback to drive code quality and maintainability, ensuring scalable multi-cloud operability. The work leveraged Go for backend development and cloud services integration, enabling more productive and secure workflows for developers working in multi-cloud environments.
