Worked on the openclaw/openclaw repository to improve the reliability of GitHub Copilot Claude model follow-ups by addressing issues with invalid thinking blocks that disrupted session continuity. The solution involved implementing logic in TypeScript to drop these invalid blocks for specific Claude models, ensuring smoother session management. Additional work included refactoring backend code, integrating AI model-specific policies, and developing comprehensive tests to sanitize session history. These changes enhanced the robustness of AI integration and reduced follow-up errors. The approach emphasized clear commit traceability and thorough testing, resulting in more stable backend workflows and improved developer experience for Claude model integrations.
