Worked on firmware and hardware compatibility for Dasharo/edk2 and Dasharo/coreboot, focusing on embedded systems and low-level programming in C. Delivered a targeted fix to stabilize CPU exception handling by modifying UefiCpuPkg to ignore DEBUG interrupts, which improved debugging reliability and established a stable baseline for further development. Later, implemented DDR5 SPD data access by adding SPD5 hub read support in soc/common/smbus, enabling DDR5 memory module compatibility and laying the groundwork for future features. The work emphasized system programming, hardware interfacing, and memory management, with clear, auditable changes that enhanced both debugging workflows and hardware support in these repositories.
June 2024 monthly work summary for Dasharo/coreboot: Focused on enabling DDR5 SPD data access and memory hub compatibility to broaden hardware support and reduce module compatibility risk. Delivered a dedicated SPD5 reader path for DDR5 hubs and memory modules, establishing a foundation for future DDR5 features and faster platform validation.
