In November 2025, Jagget contributed to the biomejs/biome repository by implementing JSX factory customization to enhance Preact compatibility. Using JavaScript, React, and Rust, Jagget enabled custom jsxFactory and jsxFragmentFactory settings, allowing Biome to integrate more seamlessly with external JSX libraries. This technical approach addressed issues with false-positive unused-import errors in Preact setups, improving the developer experience and reducing integration friction for frontend teams. The work laid a foundation for broader JSX library support in Biome, demonstrating a focused and practical engineering effort that addressed real-world integration challenges within the JavaScript and Rust-based front end development ecosystem.
