Over a two-month period, contributed to the yaptide/yaptide and yaptide/ui repositories by building asynchronous background processing for simulation tasks and enhancing the scoring configuration system. Leveraged Python, TypeScript, and Docker to implement Celery-based job handling, refactor worker roles, and restructure container orchestration, resulting in improved scalability and responsiveness for simulation workflows. In the UI, delivered advanced scoring configuration with zone-based options and clarified differential settings, while also performing targeted codebase cleanup to reduce technical debt. Focused on maintainability by migrating documentation to a dedicated repository and removing unused modules, supporting clearer onboarding and streamlined development across both backend and frontend.
