Worked on the hmcts/prl-e2e-tests repository over two months, delivering two features focused on accessibility and case tracking. Enhanced the Date of Birth field by aligning it with WCAG accessibility standards, updating end-to-end Playwright tests and selectors in TypeScript to ensure compliance and maintainability. Improved test reliability by performing lint cleanups and integrating accessibility checks into CI pipelines, reducing the risk of regressions. Developed a new History Page for case tracking, extending the page object model and refactoring validation logic to ensure accurate case status visibility. The work emphasized accessibility compliance, robust test automation, and maintainable TypeScript code.
January 2026 (2026-01): Delivered a new History Page to enhance Case Tracking and Validation in the hmcts/prl-e2e-tests repository. Updated the Case Worker page object to include HistoryPage and refreshed tests to ensure visibility of critical elements, improving end-to-end reliability and user experience for case status validation. This work centers on FPVTL-1614 (Retain FamilyMan number and validate Case Issued end state) and includes history validation refactor for robust test coverage.
