Jai Hari developed enhanced observability and profiling capabilities for BGP coroutine workloads in the facebook/fboss repository, focusing on a robust CLI-driven profiler. He implemented start, stop, filter, show, and clear commands, enabling granular control and visibility into BGP performance. Using C++ and leveraging CLI development and testing skills, Jai introduced regex-based function filtering to accelerate troubleshooting and performance analysis. He ensured reliability and maintainability by adding comprehensive end-to-end and unit tests for all profiler commands. This work established a solid foundation for performance tuning and faster issue isolation, directly improving the operator experience across the BGP path.
