Developed an automated environment setup solution for the rropen/absense-planner repository, focusing on streamlining local development and onboarding for macOS users. Leveraging Django, shell scripting, and environment setup expertise, the work produced a script that creates a Python virtual environment, installs all dependencies, initializes the database, and generates a superuser account in a single run. This approach reduces manual configuration steps, minimizes setup errors, and ensures consistency across developer machines. By enabling one-click project bootstrapping, the solution accelerates onboarding and fosters reproducible local environments. No bug fixes were required during this period, reflecting a targeted focus on feature delivery.
