Jakub Klimek updated the DCAT-AP and GeoDCAT-AP specifications in the tobie/specref repository to align with the latest data cataloging and geospatial data standards. Using Python and leveraging expertise in metadata standards, Jakub ensured the repository’s specifications remained compliant and interoperable with evolving industry requirements. This work established a standards-aligned foundation that reduces interoperability risks and prepares the project for future downstream integrations. By focusing on specification alignment rather than bug fixes, Jakub’s contribution provided depth in standards compliance and set a clear path for future enhancements, supporting robust data cataloging and geospatial data management within the project.
