Worked on the astronomy-commons/hats repository to enhance the directory structure documentation, focusing on clarifying the organization of data and its relationship to HEALPix-based partitioning. The approach involved updating reStructuredText (rst) documentation to explain the roles of Norder, Dir, and Npix directories, making the data layout more transparent for both onboarding and ongoing maintenance. By establishing a clearer, version-controlled documentation baseline, the work reduced potential miscommunication across teams and lowered the risk of downstream errors in data processing workflows. This contribution leveraged strong documentation skills and rst language expertise to improve maintainability and support future development within the repository.
