Developed a new runtime configuration capability for the runloopai/api-client-python repository, introducing the run_profile parameter to enhance scenario start functionality. This addition allowed users to specify runtime configurations when initiating scenario runs, supporting both synchronous and asynchronous workflows. The implementation focused on seamless integration with existing API surfaces, ensuring backward compatibility while expanding the client’s configurability. Validation covered end-to-end usage across both sync and async methods, supporting diverse orchestration needs. The work was completed using Python and API client development skills, with careful attention to maintainability and extensibility. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a stable release.
