Worked on the pi-base/data repository to restore automated bundle delivery to R2 cloud storage, focusing on reliability and data integrity. Addressed a critical bug by re-enabling a previously disabled GitHub Actions CI/CD workflow, which automates the upload of JSON bundles to R2. Enhanced the upload process by integrating a checksum calculation and validation step using YAML-based configuration, ensuring that only uncorrupted data is transferred. These changes re-established end-to-end data flow for production, reduced the need for manual intervention, and stabilized downstream services. Demonstrated skills in CI/CD automation, cloud storage integration, and workflow management using YAML and related tooling.
