Jan Chaloupecky focused on improving dependency management in the tuist/tuist repository by addressing issues with Swift Package Manager precompiled dependencies. He fixed the placement of these dependencies within the frameworks group, ensuring that artifacts from the SPM build directory were correctly organized and deduplicated to prevent duplicates in the project group. This work, implemented using Swift and CLI development skills, enhanced project structure and build reliability. By resolving misplacement and duplication, Jan contributed to a more maintainable codebase and smoother CI processes.
