Worked on Zephyr RTOS hardware enablement and stability, focusing on board support and driver development across multiple repositories including zephyrproject-rtos/hal_silabs and zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr-testing. Delivered new device and board support for Silabs MCUs such as efm32pg23 and efm32pg28, implementing Kconfig, device tree, and automation scripts in C, Python, and YAML to streamline onboarding and configuration. Enhanced hardware abstraction and integration with the Simplicity SDK, enabling faster development cycles. Addressed sensor subsystem stability in zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr by fixing pointer handling in C, improving reliability and robustness for embedded systems and RTOS-based applications.
October 2025: Delivered stability improvements in the sensor subsystem of zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr by fixing the Sensor Driver Pointer Handling bug. Redefined the trigger as a pointer to enable safe use of CONTAINER_OF in the trigger handler and ensured a valid pointer to the parent composite structure. Result: increased reliability and robustness of the sensor subsystem with fewer pointer-related issues. Commit reference: 22471f1fe2af600a2bd43286ae4037e3a7e4100a.
