In March 2025, Ejhiko enhanced thedevdojo/wave by developing a focused UI improvement for post author selection within the admin post creation flow. Leveraging PHP, Laravel, and Filament, Ejhiko refactored the author selection interface to display user information more reliably, introducing a fallback mechanism that prioritizes username or email when a name is unavailable. This approach reduced friction in content creation and improved the accuracy of author attribution, resulting in higher data quality and a smoother user experience. The work demonstrated thoughtful backend development and maintainable code structure, addressing both usability and reliability in the repository’s content management features.
