He refactored event processing in C to improve reliability and scalability, introducing type-specific serializers and dedicated data transmission paths for embedded IoT systems. Jannik addressed a critical event-structure bug and improved CBOR encoding robustness, while also optimizing thread priorities and stack sizes for stability. In August, he implemented end-to-end downlink reception from The Things Network, enabling TTN-based control and operational readiness. His work included comprehensive documentation updates in Markdown, supporting maintainability and onboarding for future developers and deployment teams.
