Worked on the hotwax/oms repository to deliver a data upgrade path supporting version 1.0.6, focusing on seamless schema and data structure transitions. Leveraged XML for defining and applying upgrade configurations, ensuring that data migration processes maintained integrity and backward compatibility. Developed and updated the UpgradeData_v1.0.6.xml artifact, providing a structured approach to database management during the upgrade. The work emphasized clear documentation and commit context to minimize operational risk and facilitate future automation. This effort laid a foundation for maintainable upgrade workflows, utilizing skills in data migration and database management while addressing the technical requirements of versioned data evolution.
