Worked on enhancing the installation experience for the Spacelift client in the spacelift-io/spacectl repository by automating the removal of macOS quarantine attributes during install and upgrade processes. Leveraged automation and continuous integration skills to integrate this feature directly into the packaging workflow using YAML and goreleaser, eliminating the need for manual quarantine clearance after upgrades. This approach reduced onboarding friction, improved install success rates, and decreased support requirements by streamlining the user experience. The implementation also laid the groundwork for future notarization and smoother distribution, contributing to more reliable releases and a more efficient DevOps pipeline for client onboarding.
