During the month, contributed to the grafana/mcp-go repository by developing two backend features focused on resource management and HTTP server behavior. Implemented session-scoped resource management, allowing resources to be dynamically associated with individual client sessions and enhancing flexibility based on session context. Additionally, introduced an option to disable streaming mode in the StreamableHTTP server, ensuring GET requests return a 405 Method Not Allowed response when streaming is off, which aligns with specific application requirements. The work was carried out using Go, with an emphasis on API development, concurrent programming, and thorough testing to ensure robust and maintainable backend functionality.
