During March 2026, contributed to the renovatebot/renovate repository by implementing support for nested workspace definitions in package.json files, enhancing monorepo management for multi-package repositories. Leveraging TypeScript and Node, developed features that enable automatic detection and handling of complex workspace structures, reducing the need for manual configuration and streamlining dependency updates. Extended compatibility to include additional workspace formats, particularly for Bun-based tooling, ensuring consistent workspace recognition across different environments. Focused on improving automation and maintainability within Renovate’s monorepo workflow, this work laid the groundwork for broader automation and simplified onboarding for large-scale projects, emphasizing full stack development and testing.
