During January 2025, Jasfouri established the foundational project scaffolding for the LorenFrankLab/sorting-curations repository, focusing on setting up an organized file structure and introducing an initial placeholder test file to support future testing efforts. By leveraging Git for version control and demonstrating disciplined repository management, Jasfouri enabled a clear baseline for collaborative development and streamlined onboarding. The work emphasized basic project organization and test-file placement, laying the groundwork for predictable quality assurance processes. Although no bugs were addressed during this period, the technical approach prioritized maintainability and readiness for future Python-based test development within the evolving LorenFrankLab codebase.
