Jasmine expanded the Vendor Icons Library in the Codecademy/gamut repository by adding ten new SVG icons representing major technology vendors, such as Apple, Google, and Meta, and registering them within the centralized icons constants file. She utilized JavaScript, TypeScript, and SVG to ensure seamless integration and maintainability of the new assets. This work improved branding consistency and streamlined frontend development by providing a reusable, centralized icon resource for the component library. Jasmine’s approach, which consolidated all changes into a single, traceable commit, demonstrated a methodical workflow and contributed to easier UI maintenance and faster development for the engineering team.
